The absolutely outrageous and illegal videotaping of ESPN reporter and beauty Erin Andrews nude, which was posted on the Internet and confirmed real by Andrews’ lawyer, may cost the one videotaping it a lot, as through her attorney Marshall Grossman she said she will file civil lawsuits and criminal charges against the the one or those who did it.

Speculation now is it was probably a fellow ESPN employee doing the dirty work. If that’s the case, I wonder if Disney or ESPN will be held liable in any way?

The video tape was of Erin Andrews in her hotel room standing naked or nude in her hotel room in front of a mirror.

According to her lawyer, the reason Andrews confirmed it was “to put an end to rumor and speculation and to put the perpetrator and those who are complicit on notice that they act at their peril.

“While alone in the privacy of her hotel room, Erin Andrews was surreptitiously videotaped without her knowledge or consent,” Grossman said. “She was the victim of a crime and is taking action to protect herself and help ensure that others are not similarly violated in the future.”

Several TV outlets aired portions of the video or screenshots, and may be subject to lawsuits from Andrews.

Thankfully for Andrews, she’s off until September, where she’ll then begin coverage of college football games.

A spokesman for Daily Motion said the video may have actually been online for some time, and may not have been a recent incident as far as the actual video taping goes.
