Is the transfoarmchair from Lukas Priecko the chair of the future? It’s quite possible, as the newly designed chair won first prize in the International Design Award.
But what really matters is what it does, and what is does is awesome.
The chair is made up of “an intelligent alloy whose shape changes in relation to an electronic field and can then return to its original form.” The change comes about from voice-control.
What’s not to like about a three-dimensional armchair that changes shape and bounces back to its original shape?
Not only that, but it looks cool too.
