If you’ve followed Hayden Panettiere over her acting career, you’ll find that she’s been working for about 15 years as an actress already, even though she’s only 20.

She started off her acting career in soap operas, with her first role back in 1994 as Sarah Roberts in One Life to Live. She also playe Lizzie Spaulding on Guiding light a couple of years later.

Most of Penettiere’s film roles have been as a cheerleader or dumb blonde type, which she feels limits her options at this time. Of course being only 20, there’s plenty of time for more roles with teeth in them.

Her most memorable movies are probably Remember the Titans and Joe Somebody.

But her biggest role as an actress, and the one that put her on everyone’s radar is Claire Bennet on the 2006 television series Heroes. That endeared her to the sci fi crowd, who are very loyal and attach themselves to the work of those they connect with. That means she probably has a solid fan base for life.

In a move to probably be considered more adult, Panettiere has decided to go nude in her latest film “I Love You, Beth Cooper,” which could be a mistake, as that never really helps any actress other than giving them a little temporary boost.

Her wholesome look has also won her endorsement work, where she has been the cover girl for Neutrogena, spokeswoman for Candie’s, and also participated in the Heroes-themed Got Milk? campaign.

After already 15 years of acting (and almost 20 including modeling), Hayden Pannetiere is just getting started. I wonder what she’ll do for an encore in the next 20 years?
