Celebrity Trends | Christina Aguilera Lands Own Radio Show with Clear Channel’s New A.P.E. Network

Clear Channel radio network has recently launched a new initiative called Artist Personal Experience or A.P.E., created host artists to “tell stories and turn new fans on to new music,” according to Clear Channel’s digital division and CEO of A.P.E. - Evan Harrison.
Among their first artists to join the network is Christina Aguilera, who as host, will do interviews, comment and feature new music. Aguilera will produce her entire show.
This is a timely move for Aguilera, who has a highly experimental album to be released sometime in fall 2009, where Aguilera says, “I’m experimenting with my voice in ways I’ve never done before, almost like a technical, computer-generated sound, which is different for me because I’m the type of vocalist that just belts.”
The album at this time hasn’t been named.
