Celebrity Trends | Shia LaBeouf Joining Michael Douglas in “Wall Street” Sequel “Money Never Sleeps”

“Money Never Sleeps” director Oliver Stone confirmed rumors that Shia LaBeouf would be joining the cast to star alongside Michael Douglas, in a film really primed for the economic times we live in.
LaBeouf said he thinks it’ll probably be like taking a course in college to prepare for the role, as he has “no concept” of the financial world.
Evidently he has read a script, calling it “”a walk and talk money movie,” and “wordy and heady.”
Hopefully the film doesn’t take too long to get to theaters, as it would really be a hot property right now.
Shooting begins in August for Money Never Sleeps, where Michael Douglas will reprise his role as Gordon Gekko, for which he won an Oscar for.
It’s weird how that show has resonated with people even after 22 years. Should be a lot of fun, as Douglas has the Gordon Gekko role pegged down.
