Social Trends - Carrie Prejean and Growing Opposition to Gay Marriage

carrie prejean and supporters strike back against gay marriage agenda

Social Trends

The pathetic attack by celebrity gossip guru Perez Hilton on Carrie Prejean is coming back to haunt him, as it has spurred a marketing campaign by a large number of people who saw the outrageous attack of Hilton on Prejean as despicable.

It doesn’t matter what side of the issue you’re on, what Hilton did was evil. To attempt to force his lifestyle and opinion on a contestant, while he was in a position of authority as a judge, was immoral and unethical.

Hilton and possibly the Miss USA pageant set up Carrie Prejean for the question, knowing full well it would undermine her, and could lose the pageant for her. That was correct, as the dishonest Hilton attacked her not only verbally, but abused his position as a judge by giving her a zero for an honest answer.

The answer for a question is never meant to be politically correct or according to how a judge wants it to me, but is meant to hear how the contestant handles herself and expresses her honest opinions.

Hilton and the Miss USA pageant officials are evil because of the obvious set up and attempt to force someone to answer how they wanted, even though they knew it was against what she believed.

Prejean should have been Miss USA, and applauded for giving an honest answer in the hostile environment created by the pageant and Hilton.

Here are a couple of video ads - one including Prejean - showing the other side of the so-called gay marriage issue.

I agree with you when you say that the young woman should not have been punished for giving an honest answer instead of going with political correctness.

Having said that, and while we are on the subject of honesty, please check your sources and references for accuracy. That video ad from NOM (National Organization for Marriage)which, according to you, “shows the other side of gay marriage”, has been ridiculed and laughed at by everybody and their mother. That reaction came, not so much because of the “message” of gloom and doom those obviously concerned and distressed people are voicing with respect to gay marriage, but because that video was unmasked all over the nation and beyond to be the work of ACTORS and NOT concerned citizens as it was claimed by NOM . You see, another video was found by a pro gay marriage organization which completely destroys the credibility of the NOM video by showing different actors reading the SCRIPTED parts of the worried and concerned adults who present themselves as every day people. Very evil and deceptive lying and trying to manipulate the general public like that. Wouldn’t you agree?
