Actress Rachel Bilson has landed a job as a columnist for InStyle magazine, which fits in with both her personal and professional aspirations.
Bilson launched her own fashion line in September 2008 called Edie Rose, for DKNY Jeans. This job positions her great as an expert in the field, and should help sales increase as a result of her added exposure.
It’s really a smart move, as it not only helps her with her fashion line, but keeps her name before her fans as well.
Talking to People, Bilson said about writing the column, “I can talk about fashion all day long, and I am an avid InStyle reader so the relationship seemed perfect!”
Her first column is scheduled to appear in the May issue of InStyle, where she talks up fashion-related topics, and also answers questions from readers, while revealing her own fashion secrets.
Bilson will write a monthly fashion column for the magazine.
