Simpson wisely sold the master license to her apparel/clothing brand - the right to market her name globally - to the Camuto Group for somewhere in the range of $15 million. She’s already earned her advance back, and from now on everything is profit for her.
The Jessica Simpson Collection launched in 2005 with a pair of $90 shoes, and now includes not only apparel, but about every type of accessory a woman would want, including jewelry, sunglasses and handbags.
Her line is offered in retailers like Dillard’s, Macy’s and Nordstrom, among many others.
