Retail Trends | Flavored Water - New Fruit2O Website
We know that bottled water - whether flavored or not - has struggled over the last few years, as consumers are no longer convinced it’s any better for you than other drinks, and so have shied away from paying the prices asked for from retailers. That’s one retail trend that will continue.
In one attempt to combat that, Fruit2o has put up a good looking web site in an attempt to woo consumers back to the flavored beverage.
“The relaunch of www.fruit2o.com marks a big milestone for Fruit2O as we redefine the Fruit2O legacy and refocus the brand on our heritage in fruit,” said Dave Zellen, brand manager for Fruit2O. “From this point forward, the story of fruit and the refreshment of water will be integrated into everything Fruit2O communicates to consumers. We expect this new web platform to serve as the communications hub for all ongoing marketing efforts including public relations, sampling, events and special offers.”
While I think it’ll take more than a revamping of a website to get people to buy flavored water again, Fruit2o is doing it right, in taking the emphasis off water, and putting it back on the fruit.
This is of course an attempt to bring people back to thinking healthy, a life trend that won’t change, and a retail trend that will continue.
